Delivery Policy
FarageWatch Civic Media Ltd
Last updated: 29 November 2025
FarageWatch Civic Media Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to balancing three priorities in order fulfilment:
- keeping costs as low as possible for supporters,
- delivering reliably,
- and maintaining a reasonable turnaround time as a national startup project.
This Delivery Policy sets out what you can expect when you purchase physical bundles of FarageWatch newsletters.
1. Delivery timeframe
Our delivery service standard at launch is:
You will receive your order within 7 working days.
Most orders arrive sooner, but our priority is to meet the 7-working-day standard for every customer.
- Smaller bundles (100 newsletters): usually delivered 1–2 working days after dispatch
- Larger bundles (200–1000 newsletters): usually delivered 3–4 working days after dispatch
- In rare cases where we must print to order (see section 4), dispatch may take up to 5 working days, but delivery will still meet the 7-working-day commitment.
Working days exclude weekends and bank holidays.
2. Courier service
(a) Fulfilment in-house by FarageWatch Civic Media
At launch, fulfilment of all orders under 2,500 newsletters is done in-house. We order newsletters cheaply in bulk, then sell individual bundles to you at cost.
At this time, we usually use Evri as our courier partner.
On occasion, we may use DPD instead.
This approach keeps operations and costs manageable while we grow.
Evri have a 4.1 rating on Trustpilot.
DPD are rated 4.5 on Trustpilot. They are significantly more expensive – but offer Next Day Delivery as standard.
We will review courier options – including the possibility of allowing customers to choose their preferred courier – as FarageWatch is able to scale its fulfilment operations.
(b) Direct-from-printer fulfilment for very large orders
For very large orders (2,500+ newsletters), fulfilment will be handled directly by our print supplier Solopress using DPD, independently of the Evri services described below.
(c) Re-delivery from our virtual office
If your order is re-delivered to you after being returned to us, our virtual office in Poole sends items back out using Royal Mail.
3. Evri delivery methods used
To minimise cost to the public, we use two Evri services in in-house fulfilment at our discretion:
(a) Drop-off service (smaller bundles)
Used for orders of 100 newsletters
- Faster delivery (usually 1–2 working days)
- Lower-cost option, used whenever possible
(b) Collection service (larger bundles)
Used for orders of 200+ newsletters
- Courier collection required due to parcel sizes
- Delivery typically 3–4 working days
Both services are tracked.
4. Printing-to-order
As a slim national startup operation, there may occasionally be moments where we need to print your bundle to order.
This can add up to 5 working days before dispatch.
When this happens, we will upgrade your delivery to DPD Next Working Day at no extra cost, so you still receive your order within our 7 working days service standard.
5. Dispatch notifications
When your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with tracking information.
- Please check your Spam/Junk folder if you do not see it
- If you have received no dispatch email after 6 working days, please contact us
Email: office@faragewatch.media
We aim to reply within 24 hours (on working days).
6. Delivery address responsibility
Customers are responsible for providing:
- a valid UK delivery address
- correct postcode
- a phone number (which we require when you order, solely to provide to the courier for delivery updates and communication related to your order)
- safe access for courier delivery.
7. Failed deliveries
If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to incorrect or incomplete address information provided at checkout, or if the courier is unable to obtain access or a signature where required, the parcel may be returned to FarageWatch Civic Media.
Returned parcels incur significant handling fees from our virtual office.
For this reason, at this time we cannot offer free re-delivery for orders returned to us due to customer error.
If your parcel is returned, we will get in touch to understand what happened. Then:
- If we agree you were not responsible for the failed delivery, we will re-deliver the item at no additional charge.
- If we believe you were responsible for the failed delivery, we will offer:
- re-delivery after payment of the additional mail-handling costs; or
- a refund of the order amount minus the original shipping cost and minus additional mail-handling costs, once the parcel has been safely received by us.
- If we do not receive a response within 14 days, the order will be treated as abandoned and no refund will be issued.
8. Delays outside our control
Very occasionally, delays may occur due to:
- courier network disruption
- severe weather
- strikes
- traffic or routing issues
- unexpected printer delays.
If we become aware of a significant disruption, we will update your dispatch email and take reasonable steps to ensure a timely resolution.
